Student Assistance Fund

Last year, the Office of Student Success worked to create the Student Assistance Fund to help students with the indirect costs of attending Emerson. This could include the price of books, print and copying costs, film developing, other required course supplies, personal items, transportation, and food. The Student Assistance Fund was established primarily through the generous support of the College’s faculty and staff members, demonstrating their commitment to the success of Emerson students both inside and outside of the classroom.

A gift to the Student Assistance Fund helps to ensure this resource remains available for all students. 100% of your gift goes directly towards helping current students cover these indirect costs.

The Boston Globe recently featured the work being done by Emerson's Office of Student Success. We welcome gifts of any amount and offer our sincere thanks in advance for your support of Emerson students!

Emerson's Food Pantry

In conjunction with the Student Assistance Fund, the Office of Student Success also established a Food Pantry with the understanding that some students, especially those living off-campus, do not have the means to consistently buy adequate food for themselves. There is now a small food pantry where students can pick up free, non-perishable food items to help cover some of the gaps.

The Food Pantry is made possible primarily through the generous donations of Emerson community members. Donated items include peanut butter, boxed pasta, soup, tuna fish, cereal bars, deodorant, body wash, and laundry detergent. To donate to the Food Pantry, you can:

  • Give a gift directly to the Student Assistance Fund
  • Send non-perishable food items to:
    ATTN: Food Pantry

    • If you have an Amazon Prime Account, you can send us a Prime Pantry Box!
