Join us supporting KSR ReCon to boost graduate students research skills and to provide them a fruitful learning experience!
My first KSR ReCon was last year (2017) when I was starting the PhD program and it was the first graduate event that I attended as a PhD student. To be honest, I was feeling nervous, because as a international student I am not a native English speaker. Thus, attending a graduate event and presenting a study for the public scared me a lot. However, I had a great learning experience!
Here are the reasons why I think this is a great event:
1 - You can present and discuss your research ideas in a friendly and respectful atmosphere;
2 - Attending professional development sessions to boost your teaching and research skills;
3 - Connecting with professors and graduate students and have the opportunity to get to know the diversity of studies that have been conducting in others areas;
Looking forward for the next ReCon (2019)!
Join us to make this event a amazing experience next year!
